Paint Color for the Year 2012
 |
| Wythe Blue HC-143 |
Benjamin Moore Paints has always been one of my favorite paints to specify and use in my clients' design projects. It has wonderful coverage and is very smooth in its application. So in reviewing the paint trend forecast for 2012, Benjamin Moore has chosen their Wythe Blue (HC-143) because of its "calming hue". It closely relates to that "robin's egg blue" color made popular in decor about 10 years ago and still very popular today. Think about pairing Wythe Blue with coral/pink or soft tangerine (tertiary colors to blueish green). A lot of people have trouble finding colors that coordinate, but if you look at the color wheel...you will find many options. Sometimes the least obvious color is the most intriguing because it captures your imagination to see colors paired differently.
