I had the priviledge to work on the DIY Television Network's Blog Cabin 2008 in Sweetwater, Tennessee. If you aren't familiar with DIY's Blog Cabin, they have the audience bloggers select the interior specifications (like wood flooring, tile, paint color, lighting, bathroom design, etc.) for the cabin. Then someone wins the cabin at the end of the season's show. At the time of the 2008 cabin, I was working for a furniture & design company and we were asked to do this project. It was a quick turn-around job and I only had 1/2 a day to measure (in May) the cabin (under construction, I may add). Then I had to design it off-site with everything we would install to furnish it (furniture, rugs, lamps and all accessories). In August, I got to go back to TN to install it all and work with the show's producers and host (Ahmed Hassan - who is really nice in person) to film some of the show's episodes. My moment of fame! What a great experience which I will never forget. Below are some of the beauty shots from the show.
